Temperature

Work. It evolves. A lot of the magic we've conjured lately has been post production for the best part. It's not like there hasn't been any full photo productions, but they've been....special to say the least. We managed to pull off two full productions from start to finish in 48 hours in January. It hasn't been all full steam though, and Jussi did us all a favor by taking his one man freak show to South East Asia for three weeks. Asko did the opposite and went up north to look for his keys somewhere between the Finnish and Norwegian border.

The winter in Helsinki isn't really easing it's grip, so it would be nice get into to some nasty outdoor location projects. Shooting some urban lifestyle stuff earlier this week brought back memories from bitter  cold days high up on some god forsaken glacier. Hypothermia makes you move.

A gale and a breath

We've been busy with another three projects last month. Things have finally calmed down for a while and we're in the process of updating new stuff to the site as well as setting up new projects. But hey, since it's Friday we're out. Enjoy your weekend!

Shot down in flames

We're packing up and getting ready to head to the airport for our ride home. We finished shooting last night and this one really gave us a fight. We had all kinds of trouble from props and wardrobe being lost by the airline to last minute cast changes and equipment malfunction. So it was a bit of struggle but in the end we rolled it over and drove stake through its black heart. If only our plane doesn't crash we can say we killed it.

Edit 12.10.2009: The plane didn't crash. We killed it.

We ride

We started the day really early with a mountain bike ride before getting into our production schedule. We ended up shooting up to a deserted naval gun battery called Ceniza. The ride was great as we started in a whiteout. A heavy fog was covering the mountainside and the air was crisp. On our way up the sun scorched the fog and we had the chance to take in the fantastic view of Calblanque from the top of the mountain. We took a few snapshots and tore down the hillside to make it to a production meeting. We got down in record speed although someone did find out that sometimes the track has teeth.
